Program Updates

  • Taskline now works correctly with the Getting Things Done Outlook add-in. GTD Service Pack 1 is required.

Version 1.0.29December 31, 2002

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Internal Error A/1/9 – The due date of a task cannot occur before its start date.
Version 1.0.25November 13, 2002

Program Updates

  • Taskline now schedules assigned tasks without causing lots of update emails to be sent back to the task owner.
Version 1.0.24October 30, 2002

Version 1.0.23October 10, 2002

Version 1.0.19September 20, 2002

Bug Fixes

  • If one Exchange user ran Taskline and sent the calendar task entries to another Exchange user's calendar folder, then Taskline would fail trying to delete the old calendar task entries. This is now fixed.
Version 1.0.18September 16, 2002

Program Updates

  • A few users were getting the error "Internal Error A/5/164. Type mismatch or the value "<date and time>" in the condition is not valid." This was tracked down to Outlook misbehaving if the 1000's number separator is set to a space.

Bug Fixes

  • A very few users were getting the message "Taskline is unable to create sample task." This is caused by a corruption in the default Tasks folder. Taskline should now work around this problem.
Version 1.0.15August 20, 02

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a problem that could give a "Task Due Date cannot be before Start Date" Outlook error with part-progressed completed tasks.
  • Fixed a problem whereby any errors in dialog fields would be correctly reported, but then Taskline would execute anyway. This often resulted in an internal error.
Version 1.0.14July 29, 2002

Program Updates

  • The operation of the progress bar is much improved. Most long pauses have been eliminated.
  • The Auto Process Registration Email function now works with forwarded emails.
  • The Quick Start Guide in the online help has been improved, and this is now automatically presented the first time Taskline is ever run.

Bug Fixes

  • Scheduling tasks with blank subjects could sometimes give an error. This is now fixed.
  • Internal Error A/5/164 should now be fixed.
  • The error that gave rise to the message "Unable to initialise OLE" has been addressed.
  • A problem whereby Work Remaining was occasionally incorrectly set to zero (causing Taskline to subsequently ignore the task) has been fixed.
Version 1.0.13July 14, 2002

Program Updates

  • When ordering by Start Date or Due Date the scheduling order has been changed such that tasks without dates are now positioned last.

Bug Fixes

  • Taskline Setup could appear to hang if a slow connection to Exchange Server existed. This has now been resolved, but a delay of up to 30 seconds for Setup to initialize is still possible in some circumstances.
Version 1.0.12July 8, 2002

Program Updates

  • After Taskline has run, a task summary is now optionally displayed.
  • When a task is 100% complete, the duration of the completed task was previously taken as the total work. This has now been changed to the actual work, if this is greater than zero.

Bug Fixes

  • A bug that would cause an internal error if a daytime break ended when the working day ended has now been fixed.
  • Taskline Setup would not work correctly with some versions of Outlook 97. This is now fixed.
Version 1.0.11June 17, 2002

Program Updates

  • Undocumented feature. You can now change the Busy Status of calendar task entries. These are created as Tentative by default, but can be changed to Free, Busy or Out of Office. Please email support for details.
  • Only one copy of Taskline is allowed to run at any one time. If you try to start up a second, the existing copy is made the active window.

Bug Fixes

  • Having an invalid output calendar folder selected could cause an internal error.
  • Tasks marked as “Waiting on someone else” were being incorrectly rescheduled.
Version 1.0.10June 10, 2002

Program Updates

  • There is new option to insert a shortcut into a calendar task entry that points back to the task (makes it easy to edit the task when you're looking at the calendar).
  • There is new option to create all calendar task entries as private.
  • Scheduling standard Outlook tasks now updates the task icon to Taskline’s.
  • If you schedule a folder with a default task form that is not Taskline’s, Taskline will now offer to reset the default form for you.
  • Setup now changes the default task form for you, rather than giving you instructions on how to do it yourself. Similarly, uninstall puts it back again.

Bug Fixes

  • If Total Work was 0 and Actual Work was > 0 this would cause an internal error.
  • Trying to access an Exchange mailbox that was currently unavailable would give an error.
  • Fixed a problem whereby sometimes, when using Exchange Server, old calendar task entries would end up in the Deleted Items folder, rather than being permanently deleted.

  • Occasional error on exit “Attempting to read from memory location 0xFFFFFFFF” now fixed.
  • If time was set to 12 hour format and no AM/PM, all times were previously being interpreted as AM.
